[Review] Missha LINE Brown Magic Cushion

Hello everyone ! Today i'm going to review about the Missha x Line Brown Cushion Foundation called the Magic Cushion. It's basically a foundation in a cushion form. Cushion Foundation is very popular in Korea. Missha, Etude House, The Face Shop, Hera, and almost all other Korean brands had their own cushion foundation. So what makes this Missha Cushion Foundation so special? This Missha x Line Cushion Foundation is a collaboration between Missha and Line Friends. Missha already had their own cushion foundation called the M Magic Cushion a long time ago. The difference between the M Magic Cushion and this Missha x Line Magic Cushion is basically just the packaging. This cushion foundation comes with 2 different version : Magic Cushion and Magic Cushion Moisture.

The Magic Cushion comes with Brown case packaging. It has a matte finish, and formulated for oily skin.

The Magic Cushion Moisture comes with Sally case packaging. It has a glowing finish, and formulated for dry skin.

Halo semua ! Hari ini aku mau review Missha x Line Brown Cushion Foundation yang disebut Magic Cushion. Seperti yang kita tau, ini adalah foundation yang berbentuk cushion. Cushion foundation sangat populer di Korea, hampir semua brand seperti Etude House, The Face Shop, Hera punya cushion foundation mereka sendiri. Jadi apa yang buat aku tertarik sama Missha Cushion Foundation ini? Missha x Line Cushion Foundation ini adalah hasil kolaborasi dari Missha dan Line Friends. Sebenernya, Missha udah punya cushion foundation mereka sendiri namanya M Magic Cushion. Bedanya M Magic Cushion dengan Missha x Line Magic Cushion ini cuma packagingnya kok. Cushion foundation ini ada 2 versi yaitu : Magic Cushion dan Magic Cushion Moisutre

Magic Cushion packagingnya Brown, Finishnya Matte, dan diformulasikan untuk kulit berminyak.

Magic Cushion Moisture packagingnya Sally. Finishnya Glowing, dan diformulasikan untuk kulit kering.

Ok now let's start reviewing the Magic Cushion !

I got the Brown Magic Cushion because i had a combination-oily skin type. *but actually i want the sally one because the packaging is just so much cuter! ><* This Magic Cushion Foundation sells the one with 2 refills and the one with 1 refill + 1 puff. So basically you can choose whether you want 3 cushion with 1 puff OR 2 cushion with 2 puff. I choose the one with 2 cushion and 2 puff.

It has 2 different shade, number #21 and number #23. I choose shade number #23 because i think number #23 will look natural on my skin. *number #21 would be too white for my skin*

Weight : 30 gr (45 gr if you choose 2 refills)

SPF : 50 PA +++

Price : 11.600 ₩ / $9.68 (i bought for Rp.200,000 in Indonesia)

Oke yuk kita mulai review Magic Cushionnya !

Aku pilih yang Brown Magic Cushion karena jenis kulitku kombinasi-berminyak *tapi benernya pingin yang sally karena packagingnya lebih imut huhuhu >< * Magic Cushion Foundation ini dijualnya 2 jenis, ada yang jual gratis 2 refills, ada yang jual gratis 1 refill + 1 puff. Jadi kalian bisa pilih mau 3 cushion foundation dengan 1 puff atau 2 cushion foundation dengan 2 puff. Aku sih pilih yang 2 cushion dengan 2 puff.

Foundation ini punya 2 shade, nomor #21 dan nomor #23. Aku pilih nomor #23 karena sepertinya akan terlihat lebih natural. *yang nomor #21 keputihan untuk kulitku*

Pros :

- It dries matte. Which is great for people with oily skin.

- It has medium almost full coverage.

- It has SPF 50 PA+++ great for sunscreen protection

- It doesn't break out my skin

- It feels very light on the skin

- It doesn't have a weird smell

- The puff is very soft

- Quite cheap (Well it's not the cheapest cushion foundation u can find out there in the market but it's quite cheap i guess, because u got 2 cushion foundation for less than $10).

- The Packaging is very cute !

Cons :

- Although the puff is very soft but i think it's too bouncy and plasticy.

- I love the packaging but the plastic material looks so cheap and fragile

- It oxidized and become slightly darker and more orange during the time u wear them.

Kelebihan :

- Finish nya matte jadi bagus buat kulit berminyak.

- Coveragenya medium hampir full.

- SPF 50 PA+++ sangat tinggi untuk perlindungan dari sinar matahari

- Nggak bikin kulitku break out.

- Terasa ringan di kulit

- Nggak ada bau-bau anehnya

- Puffnya lembut banget.

- Cukup murah (Meskipun bukan cushion foundation termurah yang pernah ada tapi menurutku ini cukup murah karena kita dapat 2 cushion foundation dengan Rp.200,000)

- Packaging nya imut banget !

Kekurangan :

- Puffnya memang lembut sih, tapi terasa seperti plastik gitu di kulit.

- Aku suka gambar packagingnya tapi bahan dari packagingnya itu terlihat murah dan seperti plastik rapuh gitu.

- Oxidize setelah sekian menit kalian pakai warnanya menjadi sedikit lebih gelap dan orange tone gitu.

Overall :

I like this cushion foundation but obviously, this is not my holy grail foundation. *click here for my holy grail foundation* This cushion foundation is a decent cushion foundation, it has a nice coverage (well it's not a full coverage you can still see some of my blemishes in the picture below). But overall it's quite cheap, quite good quality (although it oxidize a bit) but it's worth to buy. The cushion form make us easier to apply foundation and the packaging is quite travel friendly too.

Kesimpulan :

Aku cukup suka cushion foundation ini, tapi pastinya ini bukan foundation favoritku *klik disini untuk lihat foundation favoritku* Cushion foundation ini cukup bagus, coveragenya cukup memuaskan meskipun tidak full coverage (kalian masih bisa lihat sedikit bekas jerawat aku yang masih terlihat di gambar dibawah). Tapi secara keseluruhan cushion foundation ini tergolong murah, dan memiliki kualitas yang cukup baik (yah meskipun oxidize dikit) tapi layak buat dibeli :D Karena bentuknya cushion jadi mempermudah kita menggunakan foundation dan gampang dibawa kemana-mana juga.

Bekas-bekas luka dan jerawatku masih terlihat di sekitar mata kanan dan hidung tapi secara keseluruhan coveragenya udah bagus.

Repurchase ? Nope, i think i might try out other brand's cushion foundation first although this Missha Magic Cushion Foundation is quite great already :)

Recommended ? Yes for combination-oily skin type or anyone who loves matte finish foundation (because this foundation is not drying on the skin so you don't have to worry *except for people who have a really dry skin ! try using the Sally Magic Cushion Moisture !*) It's also great if you just want to try korean cushion foundation ! It's quite cheap and great alternative.

Repurchase ? Nggak, aku mungkin bakal coba-coba cushion foundation merk lain dulu meskipun Missha Magic Cushion Foundation ini sudah cukup bagus. :)

Recommended ? Ya, untuk orang berjenis kulit kombinasi-berminyak / orang yang suka matte finish (karena foundaton ini nggak bikin kulit kering jadi kalian nggak perlu kawatir *kecuali kalian yang punya kulit sangat kering ! coba pakai yang Sally Magic Cushion Moisture saja* ) cushion foundation ini juga cukup murah dan bagus buat kalian yang pingin coba-coba Korean Cushion Foundation.
